Second World War veteran John Mills of Point Edward is presented with a beaver-headed cane made by members of the Triple “C” Carvers Club.
Member Wayne Begarnie, right, finished the staff with graphic replicas of Mills’ service medals, a poppy, poem and photographs.
The presentation was made Feb. 22 at the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Club.
