Chris Mathers won the Intermediate round robin at the annual Chris Maher Memorial Tournament for beginner and intermediate adults at The Sarnia Tennis Club.
Jamie Ancevicius and Adam Kilner placed second and third in the July 28 event.
In one Beginner round robin, Harry Belanger took first with Marj Brophy and Ryan Lochhead finishing second and third.
Lisa Cates won the other Beginner event, ahead of Jackie Chambers and Noelle Nelson.
The tournament is named for the late Chris Mathers, who was a role model and cancer victim who used tennis as a getaway from chemotherapy treatments.
