There were several repeat winners when the Sarnia Tennis Club held its season-ending tournament for players aged 35 recently.

Dave Dukelow won the men’s singles title for the fifth time in six years, while Susan Desjardine and Dana Merrington claimed the ladies doubles title for a fifth year in a row.

In ladies singles, Dana Merrington defeated Sandra Vanos, while Aaron Stevens and Clive Barry defeated Demetrio Meskas and Dave Dukelow for the mens’ doubles title.

Desjardine and Barry also teamed up to win the mixed doubles title.

Twelve-year-old Aditya Damani received the first ever Jack Clift Memorial Youth Award, established to honour the memory of the long-time tennis coach and mentor.
