Weir, competing in the 60-to-64 age group, broke provincial records in the 50-metre and 200-metre backstroke at the Thornhill Master’s Invitational on Feb. 28.

She also had first place finishes in 100-metre backstroke and 50-metre freestyle events at the meet, held in Markham, Ont.

At another recent Master’s meet in Brighton, Michigan she broke records in backstroke and freestyle events.
