Sarnia Sting forward Hugo Leufvenius has been named to Team Sweden’s preliminary roster for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championships.
Leufvenius has led Sarnia’s offence much of this season and as of last week had 19 goals and 15 assists.
The World Juniors begin on Boxing Day and run through the holiday season to Jan. 5, with the games played in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C.
Pre-tournament play begins on Dec. 18.
