Residents may notice periods of increased flaring and noise from the Suncor Sarnia refinery over the next two weeks as the plant begins the process of shutting down units in preparation for a planned maintenance turnaround, the company says.
“This process is expected to occur over the next two weeks,” noted a message from My Community Notification Network (MyCNN). “We will be conducting perimeter monitoring during this process and have provided information of this activity to CAER and the Spills Action Centre.”
