About 150 participants raised $14,000 during the Breast Cancer Society’s Mother’s Day walk in Canatara Park on May 11. The money will help support London’s translational breast cancer research unit.

About 150 participants raised $14,000 during the Breast Cancer Society’s Mother’s Day walk in Canatara Park on May 11.

The money will help support London’s translational breast cancer research unit.

Across Canada, the walk raised more than $225,000 for cutting-edge cancer research.

The Breast Cancer Society of Canada was founded in Point Edward by Lawrence and Kay Greenaway in 1991.
