The Streets of Sarnia Project is a runaway bestseller.

City Hall said last week that due to overwhelming demand it was forced to stop taking orders for the book.

Anyone already on the waiting list will receive a copy and be notified when it’s ready for pick-up.

“Steps are underway now to seek other avenues to have more copies of the book printed,” said Mayor Mike Bradley, who added an announcement will be made once alternative arrangements are finalized.

Researched and written by Randy Evans and Tom St. Amand, the Streets of Sarnia contains the history behind the name of almost every street in the city.

City Hall had been printing the book, at cost, for $6.30 per copy.
