Fans lined the concourse at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena Friday to meet Sarnia Sting goaltender Ben Gaudreau, who just returned from Halifax where he won gold with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships.

Gaudreau, who took photos and signed autographs, had the night off as the Sting faced the Windsor Spitfires, and the organization celebrated women’s hockey, coinciding with the kickoff of the Sarnia Girls Silver Stick Finals.

Sting head coach and fellow gold medalist Alan Letang was back on the bench after serving as assistant coach with Team Canada.
