A 17-year-old expected to be a first round selection in the 2015 NHL draft was taken first overall by the Sarnia Sting in the CHL Import draft last week.

Pavel Zacha averaged nearly two points per game for his junior team in his native Czech Republic last season before being promoted to his country's top league.

There, the 6 foot 3 inch, 201 pound centre registered four goals and four assists in 38 games as a 16-year old.

But the question now is, will the flashy centre ever wear a Sting jersey?

Zacha's agent was disappointed in the selection by the Sting, saying his client is under contract to his pro team in his homeland, and has no interest in playing for Sarnia.
