Sting down Knights, remain atop the junior hockey standings

Published on

Goalie Justin Fazio turned aside 31 of 32 shots Wednesday as the Sarnia Sting downed the visiting London Knights 4-1 in the latest skirmish in the ‘Battle of the 402’ at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. Here, the Sarnia native makes a stop on the Knight’s Cliff Pu, who had London’s lone goal. Hugo Leufvenius lead the way for Sarnia, notching a hat trick and emerging as the game’s first star. With the win, the Sting improved to 19-4-1, best in the Ontario Hockey League. Sarnia is also the #1 ranked team in Canadian junior hockey.
