The "Stars of the Festival" grand finale to the 92nd Lambton County Music Festival was held on Tuesday, May 16 at Great Lakes Secondary School. This presentation of "Stars" from the Festival is held as a tribute to the winning contestants in many of the classes. It gives these competitors the opportunity to perform again those selections that, after months of preparation, brought them success at the Festival.
Several competitors have been nominated to perform in the 2023 Ontario Music Festivals Association Competition which will be held in the Niagara region June 5th to 10th this year. They are in Piano: Truman Shafer, Ava Shafer and Rianna van Stempvoort; Voice: Karissa Kern, Dana Parco, Joshua Gibson, Shayanne de Boer, Noah Leonard and Brody Fitzpatrick; Strings: Helena-Jayne Klassen, Daniel Gomez and Hannah Colquhoun.
