St. Pat’s students win Ontario heritage award

Published on

A group of students from St. Patrick’s High School is about to receive an Ontario Heritage Award in youth achievement from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

The Grade 11 communications technology class was recognized for its ‘Eye Was Not There (360) Project.’

The students created 360-degree videos of historical sites embedded with images and oral histories as a way to showcase Sarnia-Lambton history.

The annual Lieutenant Governor’s Ontario Heritage Awards recognize contributions to conservation, environmental sustainability and biodiversity.

The students will meet the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell at Queen’s Park on Friday, Feb. 23.
