The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership is now offering grants of up to $5,000 to small business owners and entrepreneurs to grow an existing business or start a new one.
Six grants totalling $30,000 are available, and the money is combined with personalized business coaching, mentorship and community support.
Applicants must be over 18, not currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution, and have at least 25% of the requested grant amount in equity.
The Starter Company Plus program is administered by the Partnership and funded by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation, and Trade.
