If you’re young or young at heart, Tecumseh Park is the place to be on Saturday.
The Deker Bauer Memorial skateboard, scooter and BMX competition features a showcase of skill on wheels combined with food and live music.
Registration is from 11 a.m. to noon, followed by the opening ceremonies and the competitions.
Keeping things lively will be a DJ and live entertainment from Spotty G and KRoyal.
A Kids Craft Corner will feature face painting as well as henna and other temporary tattoo.
The July 16 event is free and open to all. To compete, it’s $15 for one event, $30 for all three.
