Lake Huron continues to nibble away at the Sarnia's northern shoreline, with little money available for permanent repairs.

Here, the bank has collapsed at the foot of Blackwell Sideroad, a once popular beach that underwent emergency repairs only last fall.

Lake Huron water levels are about 15 centimetres higher than a year ago, and remain 55 cm (22 inches) higher than the 10-year average, according to the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority.
