A woman remains in hospital in stable condition following a shooting that occurred in Sarnia last week, police say.
The female victim was found with a gunshot wound around 2:30 a.m. on March 24 when officers were called to a residence in the area of Proctor and Talfourd Streets regarding a shooting that took place.
She was taken to London hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is asking anyone with information, security cameras, dash cam video, to contact police at 519-344-8861 ext. 5300, or Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
“We would like to remind the public this appears to be a targeted and isolated incident,” a news release noted, “with no additional safety concerns to the public.”
