SGCC crowns women’s and men’s club champions

The annual Women’s and Men’s Club Championship event was held at the Sarnia Golf & Curling Club this past weekend.

Rebecca Brydges was crowned Women’s Club Champ, with rounds of 87, 82 for a two-day total of 169. This was Rebecca’s first time claiming the title.

Steve Brown was named Men’s Club Champion – marking his third time to win the title. He shot rounds of 68, 74 for a two-day total of 142.

Women’s flight winners included:

1^st Flight winner – Peggy Connors with a 2-day total of 176.
2^nd Flight winner – Julie Kelly with a score of 178.
3^rd Flight winner – Susan Gillstrom with a score of 185.
4^th Flight winner – Beth Grieve with a score of 216.

Men’s flight winners included:

1^st flight winner – Corey Nathan with a 2-day score of 145.
2^nd flight winner – Dan Peters with a score of 154.
3^rd flight winner – Joe Sadoquis with a score of 154.
4^th flight winner – David Rawson with a score of 161.
5^th flight winner – Mitch Burrows with a score of 155.
6^th flight winner – Trevor Whitlock with a score of 174.
7^th flight winner – Jason Rawson with a score of 175.
