A trio of railway workers keep a vigilant lookout as a CN train returns from a trip to the Cargill Grain elevators on Sarnia’s waterfront spur line.

As the slow-moving train approached Ferry Dock Hill in downtown Sarnia two of the spotters got down and helped “walk” it safely across the road crossing.

There were 142 accidents at railway crossing resulting in 19 fatalities and 21 serious injuries in Canada in 2017, according to the Transportation Safety Board of Canada.
