Scouts Aiden Simmons, Kelland Griffin and Christopher Dagg (back row) along with Beaver Scout Henry Ramon and Cub Scout Ben Crombeen, form an honour guard at a plaque unveiled Saturday in Heritage Park on Nov. 8.

The plaque commemorates the Scouts project, Trees of Remembrance, that saw local Scouts plant 102 trees in Heritage Park - one in memory of each of the 102 soldiers from Sarnia who died in WW I.

At the conclusion of a Remembrance ceremony, Scouts placed Canadian flags at the base of each of the trees.
