Sawmill Creek Resort and Spa will be a busy place again next week when the Camlachie course hosts the Canadian Mid-Amateur and Senior Women’s Golf Tournament.
The 54-hole event will feature golfers from nine provinces and two U.S. states, beginning Aug. 26.
The club just finished hosting the Ontario Bantam (U15) golf championships.
Johnny Travale, 14, of Stoney Creek, Ont. won the boys division while Markham’s Hailey McLaughlin, 13, took the girls title.
