The teams also exchanged their respective 15th round selections in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection.

Hookey, a Lambton Jr. Sting AAA and Northern Collegiate alum, was originally drafted by the Greyhounds in the ninth round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

The 6’4 right winger has posted six goals and nine assists for 15 points in 36 games played this season, after registering one goal and four assists last year in his rookie season.

Hookey, 18, appeared in six playoff games last season as the Greyhounds made it to the second round.
