A scheduled maintenance turnaround involving 1,200 employees and contractors is underway at Suncor’s Sarnia refinery.
The work at the St. Clair Parkway refinery is expected to take about seven weeks, the company said in a release.
“Every effort is being made to ensure disruptions from the maintenance work are kept to a minimum,” it said.
“Suncor’s focus is on completing the maintenance work in a safe manner while minimizing impacts on our neighbours, our customers, and the environment.”
