The Sarnia Sting continued to hold the honour as top team in the Canadian Hockey League last week, despite losing their top scorer to the CIBC Russia Series.
Jordan Kyrou was the alternate captain for team OHL in the six-game series, which saw top Canadian players from the OHL, WHL and QMJHL face off against the Russians.
“It's a fun game, fun opportunity,” Kyrou said last week. “You just want to go out there, play your game, keep it simple, play the right way.”
