The Sarnia Sting have acquired 19-year-old centre Sam Bitten in a trade with the Ottawa 67’s.
The Gloucester, Ont. native is entering his fourth OHL season, racking up 22 goals, 59 points and 25 playoff games, including a run to the OHL championship series with the 67’s this past season.
Bitten was selected 92nd overall by the 67’s in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. In exchange, the 67’s will receive a 5th round selection in 2020 and a 3rd round selection in 2021.
