Players from the Sarnia Jr. Lady Sting U-9 ‘C’ and ‘HL’ teams were challenged to find a person in their lives to donate blood on their behalf, recently.
The effort is part of the Hockey Gives Blood initiative — a non-profit society that has partnered with the Canadian Blood Services in an effort to engage and educate the hockey community about the importance of blood and stem cell donation.
The players were joined by Sarnia Sting goaltender and Hockey Gives Blood ambassador Ben Gaudreau.
