A retired Sarnia high school teacher is preparing for an epic bicycle journey across Canada.
Stan Martin is one of four men biking from Vancouver to Kitchener, Ont. to raise funds for three charities - Canadian Cancer Society, Kids Alive and One4Another.
Martin lost his wife Peggy and two sisters to cancer, and following a mission to Africa is eager to improve the lives of children in Third World countries.
The tour leaves Vancouver on May 24 and end a month later.
