The Sarnia Legionnaires’ 2019-20 season ended on a disappointing note.

The London Nationals swept Sarnia in four games in the opening round of the playoffs with 4-1 win March 1 at Sarnia Arena.

Legionnaire forward Jake Vince got the Legionnaires on the board but London’s offence took over. Goalie Nolan DeKoning gave up four goals on 32 shots.

Sarnia has 17 wins over 50 games in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season and finished second-last in the western division.

Forward Nolan DeGurse finished the regular season top-five in scoring with 37 goals, and 14th for points with 68.
