After a two year hiatus, the annual Sarnia Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade will be back on the street, Dec. 3

“Every year thousands of residents and visitors line Christina Street to get a glimpse of this magical Parade which has become a yearly tradition for thousands of families,” a Kinsmen Club news release noted. “After a two-year hiatus of Drive Thru Parades, the Kinsmen Club of Sarnia is excited to be back downtown.”

This year’s theme is “Christmas all together” and the parade will tour down Christina Street, beginning at 6 p.m. at Exmouth Street, heading south to Wellington Street.

Residents are encouraged to donate at food bank collection stops — from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — at Christina and Lite Streets, Exmouth, London Road, George and Davis.

Over the past two years, more than $10,000 in cash donations and some 4,100 lbs. of non-perishable food was collected for local food banks.
