The Sarnia Saints men’s rugby squads have hit the ground running. Saints A and B teams both kicked off their seasons with a pair of wins on the road on May 25. Saints A defeated Niagara 39 – 12 and Saints B defeated Niagara 38 – 12. Saints A and B also defeated Fergus on May 11, winning 44 – 5 and 59 – 7 respectively.
The Saints women came up short in their first two appearances, falling to Stoney Creek 56 – 17 on May 25, and Fergus 80 – 10 on May 11.
All Saints teams faced Norfolk Harvesters on June 1.
