The Sarnia-based facility, part of the wider Western Research Parks, was recognized by the Association of University Research Parks at the organization’s annual conference in Oklahoma City on Sept. 30.

The award is presented to universities and research parks operating effectively and making a quantifiable contribution to their community.

Western Research Parks was the first in Ontario and third in Canada to earn the distinction.
