Red Ribbon raises green for MADD

Published on

Voluntary Toll Day raised $12,560 for the local chapter of MADD Canada.

Sarnia Police, Lambton OPP and 35 Lambton College students assisted in the one-day drive by fanning out across the community to collect for the Red Ribbon project.

The money, up slightly from last year, is used to help decrease the number of impaired drivers who get behind the wheel.

“We are truly thankful to all those who volunteered and all those who gave,” said chapter president Natalie Andrews.
