The city is making the long-delayed launch ramps available to the 42nd annual Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby, which begins Friday and runs until May 6. The paving of the parking lot and installation of a fee payment machine won't be done until after the derby ends, when the facility will become available for public use. Until then, Bridgeview Marina will continue to handle boat launches, the city says.
