Sarnia’s Brayden Bell has accepted a professional tryout with the St. Catharines-based Niagara Lockmonsters of the Canadian Lacrosse League.
Niagara opens its pre-season this Saturday against the Southwest Cyclops at 2:30 pm in Grimsby.
The regular season opens on January 16 on the road at Durham.
The Lockmonsters have two roster spots open for goaltenders this season.
Niagara failed to make the playoffs in 2015 after winning the league championship, The Creators Cup, in 2014.
