Sarnia Police are investigating the death of 66-year-old Sue Elin Lumsden, of Sarnia, as a homicide.
Emergency crews responded to a deceased female located at a residence on Essex Street shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, police said. Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations branch is treating the incident as a homicide and the residence is considered a crime scene.

Police remind residents to lock and secure windows and doors at their homes. Installing motion-activated lights and leaving exterior lights on after dark is also recommended, they added.
