The iconic Pere Marquette Rail Bridge, seen in the photo, is slated to be demolished in the coming weeks, according to the Port Huron Times Herald.

The bridge, located adjacent to the Port Huron Yacht Club, was completed in 1931 and provided rail access to businesses north of the Black River for decades, the Times Herald reports. It was placed in its upright position and abandoned in 1975.
