A radio-controlled truck operated by Aiden Breyer soars over a ramp at Canatara Beach.
Breyer and friends Luke Vanderburgt and Josh Berger visit the beach regularly to drive RC trucks and hang out with others. The scale-model vehicles, which can cost hundreds of dollars, have become a pandemic hobby for the group.
"Pretty expensive hobby," said Berger with a laugh.
