The Parks and Recreation Department and Communities in Bloom have overseen numerous improvements to Veterans Park the past few summers.
They include First and Second World War memorial benches, commemorative trees, self-watering planters, storyboards and this new sign by artist Dave Beatty.
Two more storyboards are to be in place for Remembrance Day on Nov. 11, the city says.
