Operation Christmas Tree will return Nov. 15 with a kick-off Poor Boy Luncheon at the Corunna Legion Hall on Albert Street, starting at 11:30 a.m.

Organized by the Optimist Club of Moore, the holiday food and toy collection program is expected to help about 125 less fortunate families this year.

Donations of non-perishable food, cash or new toy for children will be accepted weekdays starting Nov. 20 at the OPP Emergency Services Building, 392 Lyndoch St., from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Corunna OPP are once again hosting a drive-through for donation drop-offs at the detachment office on Dec. 8, from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The holiday hampers will be filled with toys, books, clothing, food and a food voucher and delivered by volunteer firefighters.

To receive a hamper, register at the Corunna St. Vincent de Paul, 385 Lyndoch St., Nov. 12-17 and Nov. 19-24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
