Alex Harris of the St Patrick’s Fighting Irish won a silver medal in the junior girls triple jump at the all-Ontario high school track and field championships in Guelph. Harris was in 6th place after three jumps but on her sixth and final attempt nailed a jump of 11.42 metres to claim the silver. Bruce Smith, Special to The Journal
