Skyla Minaker of Northern Collegiate clears a hurdle at the Southwestern Ontario high school track and field championship in Chatham on Wednesday.
Minaker set a new SWOSSAA record in the midget girls 80m hurdles with a time of 12.12 seconds.
She also placed second in the midget girls long-jump, and third in the 100 yard dash.
Minaker was also part of the Northern midget girls 4x100m relay team, which placed fourth.
The action resumed Thursday at Chatham Kent Secondary School.
