Nominations for the 33rd annual Sarnia-Lambton Chamber of Commerce’s Outstanding Business Achievement Awards are now open.

Community members can nominate their favourite business, individual or entrepreneur for one of twelve categories, until June 30.

“The volunteer, planning committee for the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards has been working hard to plan the 2023 awards gala, and we are so excited to announce the opening of the nominations,” said Chamber CEO Carrie McEachran. “New award categories have been created to reflect the ever-changing business community’s growth and innovations.

“We are thrilled to honour and celebrate their outstanding achievements.”

Nominees may submit their entry for judging, if they meet the requirements of the category, the Chamber said in a news release, adding that the judging panel consists of Chamber of Commerce members from outside Sarnia-Lambton.

Winners will be announced at a gala Oct. 20 at the Sunbridge Hotel.
