Enniskillen Township Mayor Kevin Marriott will be serving a third consecutive term as Lambton County Warden.
Marriott was acclaimed to the position by his peers on Lambton County Council Wednesday morning and will serve as the 161st Warden of the County of Lambton. The County Warden is the Head of Council for The Corporation of the County of Lambton.
Holding the position in 2025-2026 will make Warden Marriott Lambton County’s longest-serving Warden, leading the County for six consecutive years.
“I am humbled by the confidence my fellow councillors have in my leadership,” said Warden Marriott. “I am honoured to have the opportunity to once again lead the County for the next two years, and I look forward to working with County Council to achieve our goals and priorities. Through this work we will ensure that Lambton remains the caring, growing, and innovative community that we all know and love.”
Warden Marriott has served on Enniskillen Township Council for the past 30 years, including seven years as Deputy Mayor and the last 13 years as Mayor.
Also at Wednesday morning's meeting, St. Clair Township Mayor Jeff Agar was elected to the position of Deputy Warden. Deputy Warden Agar began his political career with St. Clair Township in 2006, serving three terms as Councillor. He was elected Mayor in 2022, beginning his representation of St. Clair Township on County Council the same year.
