A new inter-city bus service between Sarnia, Strathroy and London will begin Aug. 4.

Service operator Voyago is offering three round trips daily and two weekend round trips on buses with seating for 10 to 12 passengers.

Fare prices are based on distance travelled, from $5 to a maximum of $20.

Seats must be reserved by calling 519-787-1055. Children under 5 ride free. A monthly pass option is in the works.

In response to COVID-19, face coverings will be mandatory on all buses, along with reduced passenger capacity and exact cash fare payments.

In Sarnia, bus stops are at Lambton Mall and Bayside Centre, with a flex-stop at the VIA train station.

At the other end, the buses stop in downtown London and London International Airport.

The service is funded by an Ontario government grant until 2023.
