Sarnia’s top eco-champs are about to get a pat on the back.
Council has backed a plan from the city’s Environmental Advisory Committee for “Go Green Awards” to be awarded to residents who help protect the air, water and wildlife around us.
The six categories cover businesses, individuals and community, and youth and classrooms.
The winners will be recognized annually on Earth Day, which this year is on April 22, said Coun. Brian White
Nomination process details have yet to be announced.
