The city is working on a new website that allows residents to provide feedback online about municipal business.

Only two City Hall departments are currently active at www.smartsarnia.com.

The Clerk’s department is seeking input on a communications and engagement strategy, and the planning department has posted documents and maps concerning the future of Baxter Park and the Kinsmen Centre property on Lakeshore Road.

The site is expected to allow feedback soon on other issues including a proposed tree bylaw and urban plaza.

The city said the online option is in addition to the traditional methods of gathering public comment by telephone, mail and in-person.
