Half of the six executive leaders at Bluewater Health are retiring, and their replacements have now all been confirmed.

Shannon Landry is moving here from Stevenson Memorial Hospital in Alliston, Ont. to replace Barb O’Neil as the Chief Nursing Executive.

And Laurie Zimmer is leaving the Erie St. Clair Local Health Integration Network to assume the Vice-President position held by Lynda Robinson.

And Samar Abou-Sweid is coming from the London Health Sciences Centre to take the position previously held by Mike Lapaine, it was announced last week.

More than 80 candidates were considered for the three open positions.

As previously reported, Lapaine, the former Vice-President of Operations, replaced the retiring Sue Denomy to become President and CEO on Jan. 1

And Dr. Michel Haddad was appointed Interim Chief of Professional Staff following the sudden departure of Dr. Mark Taylor.

Kim Bossy, Chief of Communications and Public Affairs, is the sixth member of the hospital’s executive team.
