Bluewater Trails is hosting a truly open house Sunday on the Howard Watson Nature Trail.
Committee members are staffing a pair of kiosks – at Michigan Avenue and Modeland Road – to share information and gather feedback from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The group, which used money raised locally to leverage federal and provincial grants, is currently widening 15 kilometres of trail, installing new benches and will be adding a “gateway” at the Michigan intersection.
The goal is to have at least one bench every 500 metres for families with small children and people who use mobility devices.
