The ‘Mobile Market’ is back on the road, bringing fresh produce directly to people struggling to make ends meet.

The market arrives with local vegetables and useful health information, free of charge, at 14 locations in Sarnia-Lambton each week. Last year it delivers more than 6,200 pounds of fresh produce weekly.

The Inn of the Good Shepherd runs the operation with help from area farmers, greenhouses and gardeners, lead sponsor Pembina Pipeline, and local health and youth agencies.

In the Sarnia area, the Mobile Market makes one-hour stops at:

MONDAY:

Corunna – All Saints Anglican Church, Hill Street, 11 a.m.

Aamjiwnaang – Community Centre Pavilion, 12:30 p.m.

Lambton College Events Centre, London Road, 2 p.m.

FRIDAY:

Roger Street, parking lot, 9:30 a.m.

Kathleen Avenue Park, 11:00 a.m.
