Michigan Avenue between Colborne Road and Christina St. in Sarnia is scheduled for full closure for the next several weeks.
Detours will be in place via Indian Road, Lakeshore Road and Christina Street, to access Michigan Ave. east and west. The construction project includes a new water-main and sanitary sewer for the city at Marcin Road.
Residents can access their properties via Newell Street and Marcin Road. No through traffic will be permitted throughout the duration of the project, which is expected to last up to 12 weeks. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signage and respect the health and safety of road crews.
